PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feed device that ensures a stable and precise feed without oscillation of a feed control system at a gain of the feed control system and the rotational frequency of a rotary mechanism. SOLUTION: According to rotation information about the rotary mechanism 30, a dynamic characteristic variation means 31 sets the primary natural frequency of the feed device such that it does not match the rotational frequency of the rotary mechanism 30 and higher order frequencies, and sets the natural frequency and Q value data in variable notch filters 40a and 40b of a feed control means 32. A current friction torque information signal acquired from the natural frequency is supplied as an equivalent disturbance signal to a torque signal to a feed motor 7. Without a position error due to increased friction torque, oscillation of the feed device by rotary drive is avoided, and with respect to the varied natural frequency and Q value, a peak gain at the natural frequency is reduced to operate the feed control means 32 and a translation control means 60 stably without oscillation, which enables a stable and precise feed.
