PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidity controller capable of reducing the number of parts required for humidity control of air, and capable of improving dehumidification or humidification performance. SOLUTION: Adsorption heat exchangers 11 and 12 carrying adsorbents are provided in a refrigerant circuit 10 of the humidity controller 1. In a state wherein the adsorption heat exchangers 11 and 12 are used as evaporators, the adsorbents are cooled by a refrigerant flowing in the adsorption heat exchangers 11 and 12, and water contents in air are adsorbed by the adsorbents. Adsorption heat generated during this time is used as evaporation heat of the refrigerant. In a state wherein the adsorption heat exchangers 11 and 12 are used as condensers, the adsorbents are heated by the refrigerant flowing in the adsorption heat exchangers 11 and 12, and water contents of the adsorbents are desorbed and supplied to air.
