PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic door geared motor having improved productivity while preventing a fitting failure due to produced grinding debris when pressure-fitting a gear to a spindle. SOLUTION: The geared motor comprises a motor part 9, a motor shaft 10 having a toothed portion formed on an output shaft portion, the gear 2 for meshing with the shaft 10, and the spindle 1 inserted into the gear 2. An opening portion of a shaft hole provided in the gear 2, into which the spindle 1 is inserted, is chamfered to form a ring-like recessed portion at the peripheral edge of the opening portion.
