PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein backward confirmation is hard for a passenger using a wheelchair through a small reflection of a small convex mirror provided in a small space over an entrance, in regard to an elevator car having an entrance where passengers getting on/off face to each other. SOLUTION: In the elevator car 1 having an entrance where passengers getting on/off face to each other, a stainless specular plate 12 is stuck on an inside surface of a car door 3a, which is provided in the car entrance 2 and of which surface is formed into a mirror, so that a passenger 20 using a wheelchair can confirm rear over a wide range from inside the car 1 to the landing 6. With this structure, safety of the passenger 20 using a wheelchair is improved, and an elevator friendly to everybody can be provided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
