PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fork lift truck changing a direction of a fork to a vehicle body in a complicated manner and fixing a pallet supported by the fork to the fork or releasing its fixation. SOLUTION: A lock member 21 is connected with a lower part of a finger bar 9 connected with the fork 10 and turning and traversing together with the fork 10. A cylinder 25 is connected with a lower part of a rotate shaft 8 as the center of turning which is connected with the finger bar 9 and rotates to turn the fork 10 and the finger bar 9. By rotating the lock member 21 by expanding or contracting a rod 25a of the cylinder 25, a lower side deck board 20c of a pallet 20 supported on the fork 10 in a tip part 21c of the lock member 21 is pressed to fix the pallet 20 on the fork 10 or to hold the lock member 21 at such attitude that it leaves the upper and lower deck boards 20b, 20c of the pallet 20 to release fixation of the pallet 20.
