PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device enabling an operator sitting on a wheelchair to easily supply paper sheets. SOLUTION: A paper feed tray 31a is drawn from an image forming device 100 main body, and a handle 32a is installed in a left side surface front end part. Also, the paper feed tray 31a is constituted so as to travel along a rail 33, locked in the image forming device 100 main body, and provided with a locking part 34 for preventing the traveling. Since the locking part 34 is provided on the same side as the handle 32a with regard to a drawing direction, a force S1 applied to the handle 32a and a force S3 applied to the locking part 34 are generated on an approximately straight line when the operator draws out the paper feed tray 31a, and generation of rotation moment is thereby prevented. As a result of that, most of components of the force S1 act so as to oppose to the force S3, and become force for shifting the locking part 34 to a release state.
