PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper arm provided with an arm cover having high fixing strength to a wiper arm body and an easy fitting work to the wiper arm body. SOLUTION: An engaging pawl 32C is provided on an upper surface 32A of a primary part cover 32 of the arm cover 30. An opening part 22E is formed on an upper surface 22B of a retainer 22 of the wiper arm body 20. An edge part of the opening part 22E is made as an engaged part 22I engaged with the engaging pawl 32C. The opening part 22E becomes an escape hole that an extension part 31G of a head cover 31 enters when rotating the retainer 22 in relation to an arm head 21. The width of the opening part 22E is made almost equal to that of the engaging pawl 32C. The engaging pawl 32C is reinforced by a rib 31G having a curved back part 31H. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
