PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment apparatus for efficiently carrying out treatment of sterilization, deodorization, and the like, to air-conditioning air to be supplied to a room. SOLUTION: Circulation channels 12, 1 and 22 for returning the air exhausted from the room 10 to the room 10 again are formed. In the circulation channels 12, 1 and 22, a discharge element 29 for generating ozone in a range where an indoor ozone concentration is≤50ppb and a metallic compound catalyst 37 for decomposing the ozone are provided. The metallic compound catalyst 37 is arranged upstream compared with the discharge element 29. The ozone is supplied together with air from the circulation channels 12, 1 and 22 into the room 10 to disperse the ozone sufficiently in the air in the room 10. After mixing the ozone in the room 10, the air exhausted from the room 10 to the circulation channels 12, 1 and 22 comes into contact with the metallic compound catalyst. In the case, the ozone mixed in the air is decomposed to generate oxygen radical to carry out the treatment of sterilization, deodorization, and the like of the air. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
