Hand-held machine tool has a tool holder (52) with movable extending arm (38) arranged in adjustable manner. A belt (86) is stretched in at least one working position (60) of the extending arm. The belt is unwound in one or more positions beyond the working position. The extending arm is movable with respect to a casing (12), which holds the drive motor. An independent claim is also included for a method for changing the belt of the hand-held machine tool.
