<p>The present invention relates to a hemostatic mistura of Ipornoea balatas leaves, a method of preparationg and use thereof. The present galenical formulation is prepared by extracting stems and leaves of I. balatas of Convolvulaceae with alcohol and water, the extract containing active ingredients of polysaccharides. The present invention is of splenico-gastric protection and hemostasis, and useful in treatment of thrombopenic pupura, thrombopenia caused by radiotherapy and chemotherapy for tumor, dermatic purpura of other origins and related diseases. The present invention has the advantages of high efficacy with less side reactions and contraindication, chronic treatment with stability, thus being the alternative of hormones and immunosuppressants.</p> |
