<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printing ink which uses a yellow pigment, is excellent in dispersion stability, storage stability and discharge stability, and also is capable of giving an printed image of a good quality and high water resistance because of the good coloring power, and to provide a yellow aqueous pigment dispersion enabling to prepare the above inkjet printing ink. <P>SOLUTION: The aqueous pigment dispersion for use in inkjet printing inks contains C.I. pigment yellow 74, a styrene acrylic-based resin having an acid value of 100-250, and a basic compound, where the styrene-acrylic based resin contains as the constitutional monomer unit at least a styrene-based monomer unit, an acrylic acid monomer unit and a methacrylic acid monomer unit, and the resin has a weight-average molecular weight of 7,000-15,000. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
