<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an operation part provided on a peripheral side of a pad part from being broken and flying to an occupant side in a steering wheel equipped with an airbag cushion for expanding/developing from the pad part to be a donut shape at the time of collision of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: Steering switches 29 are provided on a peripheral side of the steering wheel W of a side part 2b at left/right end parts of the pad part 2. As for the steering switches 29, button part 61 might be formed to be an approximate hat shape in cross section and might be designed so as not to move to the occupant side by abutting its flange 61b to the side part 2b, or a button part 65 having a T-shape in cross section might be arranged in the side part 2b and its occupant side might be covered with a seal part 67.
