<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for fully automatically and hygienically arranging fried bean curd pieces conveyed in laterally directed postures and in longitudinally directed postures into the laterally directed postures, and further sending out the fried bean curd pieces at each unit of several ten pieces in a state standing up in a line, and to provide an apparatus therefor. <P>SOLUTION: This method for continuously sending out the rectangular fried bean curd pieces in a state standing up in a line is characterized by individually nipping the rectangular fried bean curd pieces conveyed in laterally directed postures and in longitudinally directed postures on an endless rotated conveyer with intermittently rotated upper and lower rolls at the end of the conveyer, putting the nipped fried bean curd pieces on an inclined route at a constant distance to arrange the lower ends of the put fried bean curd pieces, falling the laterally directed fried bean curd pieces on the inclined route to arrange the fried bean curd pieces in the longitudinally directed postures, returning the fried bean curd pieces in horizontal postures, sequentially vertically standing up the fried bean curd pieces, and then continuously sending out the standing fried bean curd pieces at each unit of several ten fried bean curd pieces.
