<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine the reason for the malfunction at a low cost and with a simple structure, in a system adopted with an insulating structure is whether a degradation in vacuum of the vacuum chamber or the abnormality of the system of the thermally insulated object, when an abnormality has occurred in the system of insulation object; and to provide a monitoring device, and to provide a method with little possibility of lowering of the degree of vacuum. <P>SOLUTION: The monitoring device for monitoring lowering of the vacuum level of the vacuum heat insulating structure and the method of monitoring the vacuum level lowering is constituted, such that in the vacuum heat insulating structure, where the wall temperature of high-temperature side and the low-temperature side of the vacuum chamber can be measured, a temperature sensor is provided which is in direct contact with neither wall. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
