PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin ventilation unit capable of selectively performing air supply and exhaust operations, and stored in a narrow space at a side of a heat exchanger in the air conditioner. SOLUTION: The ventilation unit comprises an air supply/exhaust fan rotated in one direction, an air supply mode and an exhaust mode can be selectively performed, and an air passage can be used as the air passage in the air supply mode and that in the exhaust mode by being switched by a switch valve, thus a structure of the passage can be thinned, and the ventilation unit suitably stored in a narrow space at the side of the heat exchanger can be achieved.
