METHOD FOR PRODUCING RESIN MICROPARTICLE AND RESIN MICROPARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the formation of hollow particles or irregular-shape particles and to provide resin microparticles having a uniform shape and a narrow width of particle size distribution by an environmentally friendly method. SOLUTION: A method for producing the resin microparticles comprises discharging a dispersion in which a dispersoid mainly composed of a resin material is finely dispersed in an aqueous dispersion medium into a droplet form. The method comprises a step of removing the aqueous dispersion medium from the dispersion in the droplet form by heating, aggregating a plurality of dispersoids contained in the dispersion in the droplet form and providing an aggregate. The temperature of heating is 50-100°C and the resin having the glass transition point not lower than the temperature of heating is used as the resin material. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
