PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection lens shift mechanism which makes it possible for an operator of a projection lens shift device to feel a projection lens located in the middle even when a projector is not sufficiently visible and also makes it possible to finely adjust the projection lens over the entire shift range of the projection lens. SOLUTION: The projection lens shift mechanism is capable of letting know a user of the prescribed position of the projection lens with a feeling of click by a simple configuration including the shape of a notch made in the circumference of a cam adapted to move a lens position, a flat spring fitted to it, and a cam curve shape. The cam is shaped such that when the cam is in the first and third ranges, a distance from the center changes and when the cam is in the second operation range, it is composed of concentric parts.
