PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide optical equipment capable of maintaining correspondence between movement of a movable lens and movement of an operation member which is operated from outside and improving operability. SOLUTION: The optical equipment is equipped with the movable lens, a lens driving means of moving the movable lens along the optical axis, the operation member which can be operated from outside within a designated variable range, an operation member driving means of driving the operation member within the designated variable range, an operation member position detecting means of detecting the position of the operation member, a drive signal output means of outputting a drive signal for driving the operation member driving means, a control means of controlling the driving of the lens driving means according to the output from the operation member position detecting means when the operation member is operated from outside, and moving the operation member by driving the operation member driving means according to the drive signal and also controlling the driving of the lens driving means according to the output from the operation member position detecting means when the drive signal is outputted from the drive signal output means while the operation member is not operated from outside, and a driving control changing means of changing the movable lens position.
