PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a removing apparatus of foreign matter of small specific gravity with simple constitution, capable of moving particulate easily in a uniform thin layer, and enhancing the treating capacity of the foreign matter of small specific gravity. SOLUTION: This removing apparatus 1 of foreign matter of small specific gravity is provided with a supply port 21 at a lower end part, a supply part 11 supplying particulate from an upper part to a lower part, a recessed type rotary vessel 12 rotatably provided around a vertical axis and moving the particulate supplied from the supply part 11 to a large diameter side by centrifugal force, a suction part 13 having a suction port 27 near the upper part of a tilted inner periphery face nearer to the uppermost edge than to a center of the vessel 12, and a recovering part 14 of a shape surrounding the uppermost edge of the vessel 12, and formed to receive the particulate overflowing from the uppermost edge of the vessel 12 by centrifugal force and being discharged to the outside thereof.
