The cover has a roll shaft (6) and curtain path (7), which are fixed in a removed condition above a seat surface of a front seat (1) of a motor vehicle. The shaft and path are freely released in an unrolled condition on the surface. The shaft and path overstretch objects (5) are isolated on the surface, so that the objects are secured against an unobstructed downward slipping of the surface while driving the vehicle.
