摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new additive which attains the improvement of optical characteristics (refractive index, extinction coefficient and shortening of wavelengths) difficult to solve by designing the molecular structure of colorant, and to provide a composite coloring material therefor and an optical information recording medium using the coloring material. <P>SOLUTION: The composite coloring material comprises: a fluorine-based oligomer being a fluoroalkyl group-containing oligomer represented by general formula, R<SB>F</SB>-(M)<SB>n</SB>-R<SB>F</SB>' (wherein R<SB>F</SB>and R<SB>F</SB>' are each a fluoroalkyl group and may be the same or different; M is a monomer having a hydrophilic group; and n is an integer of &ge;1), for example, a fluoroalkyl group-containing oligomer of the formula shown herein; and a colorant having a phenolic hydroxy group.
