<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system using oxygen contained in atmospheric air for electrochemical reaction related to power generating operation, capable of preventing impurities obstructing power generating operation from flowing into a fuel cell body while restraining increase of power consumption, complication of the system, and deterioration of a maintenance property, and to provide a container for power generating fuel for the fuel cell system. <P>SOLUTION: Approximately, the fuel cell system comprises a fuel cartridge 20 in which fuel for power generation and water are stored separately, having a lead-in passage 23 for taking in atmospheric air and a filter 24 trapping impurities contained in the atmospheric air; a power generating cell part 11 generating electric energy by an electrochemical reaction using hydrogen gas obtained by reforming the power generating fuel and oxygen in the atmospheric air; a fuel supply control part 14 and a water supply control part 15 controlling the supply state of the power generating fuel and the water; and an air supply control part 16 controlling the state of taking-in and supplying of the air (oxygen). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
