<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retrieve an image forming apparatus in which ACC data is calculated, stored and with which interlinked image formation is made possible in an image formation system to notify a user of it. <P>SOLUTION: When the user reads an original image with a scanner of the image forming apparatus [1] being as the interlinked image formation, the image forming apparatus [1] notifies a network server 405 that the present machine itself is the scanner in the interlinked image formation by a communication means 304. The network server 405 accesses image forming apparatuses [2], [3] in which ACC compensation data for printing a scan image by the image forming apparatus [1] is already calculated and stored and transmits an inquiry whether or not the image forming apparatuses [2], [3] are connected via a network and in a normal operation state to the image forming apparatuses [2], [3].
