PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for dimensionally repairing a turbine engine component by cathode arc welding and/or low pressure plasma spraying (LPPS) coating. SOLUTION: The invented method relates to repair a metal component having a worn part. In the method, the worn part is washed to remove oxidized layer thereon and is covered with an alloy for repair by processes chosen from a group comprising cathode arc welding and low pressure plasma spraying (LPPS).
