摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding method for a marine welding structure, a welding method that can prevent breaking of a marine welding structure by preventing, in a weld zone, propagation of brittle fracture when it occurs in a weld joint even in a steel plate having a thickness of≥70 mm, and also to provide a marine welding structure formed thereby. SOLUTION: This is a marine welding structure welding method excellent in brittle fracture propagation resistance that prevents propagation of brittle fracture occurred in a weld joint. The method is characterized in that, in a part or all of the region where the weld joint of a vertical member and the weld joint of a horizontal member of a ship cross each other and/or in a butt welding joint of the ship, a part of the region is removed by gouging or machining and thereafter, repair welding is carried out on the part using a welding material which excels in fracture toughness.
