PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure electrical energy even when electronic equipment, such as a cellular phone and PDA, using a power storage device is frequently placed in situation in which a ray of light is intercepted, for example, in clothing or a housing case. SOLUTION: The power storage device includes: a conductive enclosure 100 having electrical conductivity; an insulating film 101 formed over the inner walls of the conductive enclosure 100; a storage battery 102 provided in the conductive enclosure 100; and wires 105 and 106 that electrically connect the positive electrode 103 and the negative electrode 104 of the storage battery 102 and the conductive enclosure 100. The storage battery 102 is charged by ensuring that the electric charges stored in a charged body 107 external to the conductive enclosure 100 flow from the conductive enclosure 100 to the positive pole 103 and the negative pole 104 of the storage battery 102 through the wires 105 and 106.
