PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a halogen lamp hardly generating a hot spot caused by a short-circuit due to the mutual contact of elemental wires of three-fold coil filament, having vibration resistance, with few scatter in property, and to provide a lighting system using the lamp. SOLUTION: The halogen lamp comprises a translucent air-tight container 1; a pair of inner conductive wires 3a of which the base ends are embedded in the container 1, and the tip ends are arranged oppositely to each other; a three-fold coil filament 6, forming a primary coil by winding a tungsten elemental wire with a pitch of p1, forming a secondary coil by winding the primary coil with a pitch of p2, and forming a tertiary coil by winding the secondary coil with a pitch of p3, wherein the pitches p1, p2 and p3 satisfy an equation p1≥p2≥p3, connected between a pair of internal lead wires; and halogen gas and inert gas sealed in the container 1.
