PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a center switch of a multiple contact input device inputting various signals by operating the center switch by pushing operation of an operating member to operate a plurality of peripheral switches provided in the periphery of the center switch by tilting operation of the operating member. SOLUTION: A push rod 32 is protruded from a body 31 of the operating member 30 to a push-in side, so that the push rod 32 can move in an axial direction of the body 31. The push rod 32 is energized to the projection side by a spring 33 combined with the body 31 together with the push rod 32.
