PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jack having a structure easy to assemble, wherein a contact for electric connection and a nut for fixing to an apparatus are surely held to a housing. SOLUTION: Contacts 2 and 3 with lead wires 20 and 30 are inserted from the back face 1b of the housing 1, and the nut 4 is held to a cut-out slot 14. While keeping a state where the lead wires 20 and 30 are surrounded by lead wire insertion slots 5a and 5b, both ends 5c and 5d of the other piece 52 of a cover 5 for forming a pectinate uneven part are entered in a pair of guide slots 15a and 15b formed on the back face 1b of the housing 1 for forming the pectinate uneven part and further slid. The other piece 52 of the cover 5 closes the back face 1b of the housing 1, and one piece 51 of the cover 5 closes the cut-out slot 14.
