PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk loading roll which absorbs variation in devices to thereby cause no large reduction in its transport power for the disk even though the roll is used for any one of the devices and therefore surely performs loading and ejecting a disk, and prevents the occurrence of squeaky sound, and to provide a disk loading device using the roll. SOLUTION: The disk loading roll 10 is made of a rubber elastic body having an outer peripheral surface whose outer diameter is varied in the axial direction and conducts disk loading by abutting on the peripheral parts of a disk, wherein outer diameters d<SB>11</SB>and d<SB>12</SB>of the portions where the roll abuts on the right and the left end sections of the disk 100 are set to be different at the right and the left sides.
