PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide source program conversion programs, which use field-proven source programs in an existing system and can easily perform source program migration operations when a new system is configured. SOLUTION: A language specification of a migration target system is investigated in advance, and customize information for converting to the language specification of the migration target system is prepared. The customize information indicates how to convert parts that do not satisfy the language specification of the migration target system. Source conversion programs perform words and phrases analysis for original source programs, and internally store error information for parts that do not satisfy the language specification of the migration target system. Subsequently, referring to information specified in the customize information and the error information, conversion information necessary for generating migration target source programs is created, and source programs available for the migration target system are generated based on the conversion information.
