PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically and very precisely correlate information to be transmitted with a context. SOLUTION: In an information providing server 101 to which contexts are transmitted together with requests for transmitting information, a context-ID registration part 116 correlates the contexts which it receives with the IDs of the information which it receives, stores them in a correlating database 111 to update the database. For example, the context-ID registration part 116 correlates the URLs, which are the IDs of the information which it receives, with the contexts which it simultaneously receives and registers them with the correlating database 111 to update the database.
