PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lengthen the service life of a fan, by restraining consumption of lubricating oil, by preventing leaking to the outside of the lubricating oil of a built-in oil retaining bearing by a temperature rise of the fan itself by driving. SOLUTION: In this bearing structure of a motor fan 1, a shaft fitted to a rotor hub 3-2 has a peripheral directional groove desirably formed so that the sliding contact side with the oil retaining bearing has a gradient by a substantially right-angled wall on the side fitted to a boss part of the rotor hub 3-2 between a boss tip surface of the rotor hub 3-2 and a sliding part slidingly contacting with the oil retaining bearing; and a shaft penetrating inserting hole inner peripheral surface of a tail end bottom part of a bearing box 7, is formed so as to become a position opposed to the peripheral directional groove of the shaft 5 and so that clearance with the shaft desirably becomes 0.1 mm or less on the side oppositely coming into contact with the boss part tip of the rotor hub 3-2 from a part opposed to the peripheral directional groove of at least the shaft 5.
