PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of accurately correcting skew at all times. SOLUTION: Swinging steering rolls 110 and 111 and edge sensors 126 and 127 are installed on both the upstream side and the downstream side of print parts 12Y to K, and the detected results of the edge sensors 126 and 127 are sequentially fed back so that a control part can control the steering rolls 110 and 111. Since the skew is corrected by always detecting the lateral position of a continuous paper P on both the upstream side and the downstream side, the skew can be accurately corrected at all times and, therefore, the continuous paper P must not be adjusted according to the types of paper and a difference in the nature of the device.
