PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid deterioration of the recorded image quality caused by the replacement of hardware components. SOLUTION: The image recording device 10 includes software for performing image recording process using data based on the characteristics of hardware components (laser irradiation device 21, edge sensor 25), wherein the software is used to record the recording target image on a photosensitive material sheet 14 by light beam 15. The image recording device is provided with a storage means 27 for storing the date to be used by the software, and a data update means 26 for rewriting the data of the old hardware components stored in the storage means 27 to the data of the new hardware components when the hardware components were replaced.
