An image processor, an image processing method and an image processing program in which variation of an image being displayed during focusing operation is clarified with regard to image processing of an AF camera, or the like. The image processor comprises an image pick-up element (6) outputting an image focused through an optical system (4), a focus control section (26) for controlling the optical system to a focus position using an image obtained through the optical system, and an image processing section (8) for forming a quasi-image where the variation in resolution is enlarged as compared with an image obtained by the image pick-up element.
