<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifunctional printer capable of managing documents on a calendar base in particular, surely recogninges the location of the documents and managing a schedule on a calendar base, and having an excellent operability with respect to the multifunctional printer having a facsimile function, a printing function, a mail function or the like. <P>SOLUTION: This multifunctional printer transmits and receives facsimile data through a fax communication control part, transmits and receives print data and mail data through a LAN communication control part and transmits original data read by a scanner part as the facsimile data and mail data to the opposite party. A schedule management function part schedules event information on a calendar, and a document corresponding to an event is registered by the generation of a virtual link.
