<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic camera capable of providing a sufficient panning effect without imposing a large burden on a user after photographing and regardless of an exposure condition for photographing time. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic camera has an imaging part for generating a plurality of pieces of image data by consecutive photographing, a movement detecting part and a panning effect imparting part. The movement detecting part uses at least any of the image data as a comparison target to thereby acquire movement information of an object in an image shown by image data later than the image data of the comparison target in photographing time. The panning effect imparting part distinguishes a main object from a background in the image shown by the image data and applies image processing for increasing a blurring amount of the background to the image data to thereby generate corrected image data. Thus, an image with a panning effect can be automatically produced regardless of the exposure condition for photographing time and without requesting operations of the user after photographing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
