<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an entrainment preventing device suitable to front wheels of a vehicle since a means capable of suppressing entrainment of a pedestrian, etc., due to the front wheels has not been suggested. <P>SOLUTION: This device is provided with arms 16 and 17 pivotally attached to a base 13 so that distal end parts may be oscillated between a position close to the vehicle side in front of the wheels and an upper position close to the cab center, a cross bar 20 fitted at the distal end parts of the arms 16 and 17 to be extended in the vehicle width direction, and a guard 21 which can be suspended from the cross bar 20 and swung up to the front to be projected to the cab side when the arms 16 and 17 deviate close to the vehicle side. At the time of a left turn or a right turn of the vehicle, the arms 16 and 17 are oscillated, and the guard 21 suspended from the cross bar 20 is swung out to the front of the wheels converted to outward steering positions. When the cab is inclined to the front, the guard 21 is abutted on the wheels and is pressed and stopped, but an oscillating mechanism of the guard 21 constituted of the cross bar 20, the arms 16 and 17 and the base 13 is tilted together with the cab. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
