<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter controller for driving a motor which meets higher harmonics regulation of an AC power source current while realizing reductions in size, weight and cost. <P>SOLUTION: This inverter for driving the motor is provided with the reactor 11 of an extremely small capacity, and the capacitor 12 of an extremely small capacity between DC bus bars of the inverter 2. The inverter is equipped with motor voltage command corrector 14 which superposes pulsating components of the frequency expressed by a result of multiplying a pole, phase and rotational frequency of a motor 4. Consequently, the small-sized, light-weight and low-cost inverter controller for driving the motor can be achieved by using the small-capacitance capacitor 12 and the small-capacitance reactor 11. Even when a motor 4 is difficult or impossible to drive, due to a significant change in an inverter DC voltage, the inverter 2 is operated so that the voltage applied to the motor 4 to be substantially constant. Thus, driving of the motor 4 can be maintained, and further the higher harmonics regulation of the AC power supply current can be controlled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
