PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data communication system and a data communication method for conducting data mutual communication between a data supply source and a data receiving destination at remote places by a human body communication system using a data transceiver attached to a human body, with high convenience, high portability of data, simplicity of connection and confidentiality of the data such as, for example, the one constituted using a wireless LAN, a cable LAN or the Internet. SOLUTION: Transmission/reception of information is performed by contact of the human body with first communication equipment between the first communication equipment and the data transmitter/receiver attached to the human body and the transmission/reception of information is performed by contact of the human body with second communication equipment between the second communication equipment and the data transmitter/receiver attached to the human body.
