PIPELINE A/D CONVERTER AND ITS OUTPUT CORRECTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the DNL of a pipeline A/D converter. SOLUTION: For a controllable stage (11A), analog input can be switched by an input switching part (14) and the digital input of a D/A converter in the inside can be switched. An error calculation part (15) calculates the error of the output of the pipeline A/D converter due to the analog output error of the controllable stage (11A) from the output of the pipeline A/D converter when the controllable stage (11A) is turned to a prescribed input state and an expected value for it. A correction value generation part (16) generates a correction value for correcting the output of the pipeline A/D converter on the basis of the calculated error.
