PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk device where malfunction caused by deformation of a chassis exterior is prevented by obtaining sufficient rigidity even when using a low-rigidity material such as aluminum alloy, magnesium alloy. SOLUTION: A chassis exterior is composed of a base body 10 and a cover body 130. A disk inserting opening 11 directly inserting a disk is arranged on the front face of the chassis exterior, and a connector 12 is arranged on the rear surface of the chassis exterior. An ejection lever 100 for ejecting the disk is provided at the side part of the base body 10, and a regulation lever 110 for regulating insertion of the disk is provided on the rear side of the base body 10. A rear base 13 is provided at a position covering a printed circuit board 14 without being overlapped with a traverse 30. The lower surface of the ejection lever 100 or the upper surface of the rear base 13 is made to project to constitute an ejection lever sliding surface 311 at the rear base 13, and the lower surface of the regulation lever 110 or the upper surface of the rear base 13 is made to project to constitute regulation lever sliding surfaces 312 and 313 at the rear base 13. Openings are formed at the rear base 13, both the sides of the ejection lever sliding surface 311, and both the sides of the regulation lever sliding surfaces 312 and 313.
