A method for assessing DNA fragmentation after exposure to radiations in which a cellular material is subjected to a first phase of electrophoresis; to a second phase of hybridisation in situ comprising the use of genic probes able to hybridise with at least one of the genic sequences pertaining to the RET, c-Abl and p53 genes, and marked with any adduct or nucleotidic change that allows their display; and to a phase of display of the genetic material of the cellular material and of the genic probes.
