A method of preparing a supported homogeneous enantioselective catalyst comprising the step of mixing an activated carbon support with a chiral rhodium complex in the absence of an anchoring agent, supported homogeneous enantioselective catalysts obtainable by this method and the use of the supported homogeneous enantioselective catalysts in a hydrogenation reaction.
