<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give good ink fixability and a good water resistance to a recording medium for a printer which contains an intercalation compound wherein a water soluble dye is securely held by an intercalation reaction activated with ion exchange, and furthermore, to improve the light resistance of a picture image formed on the recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: The recording medium for the printer is composed of a substrate 1, a dye anchoring layer 2 and an ink receiving layer 3. The dye anchoring layer 2 contains, as an intercalation compound 4, a stratified inorganic polymer comprising a hydrotalcite group mineral, and in the ink receiving layer 3, at least one sort of 1-20C organic acids 5 is contained in an amount of 10-150 wt% to the weight of an ink receiving resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
