<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic image forming apparatus in which mounting operability for mounting a process cartridge on the mounting position of an electrophotographic image forming apparatus main body is improved, and also provide the process cartridge. <P>SOLUTION: The process cartridge 2 is provided with a cartridge frame (photosensitive body drum frame body 24 and developing frame body 71) for supporting an electrophotographic photosensitive body drum 21 and a process means, and a first electric contact 81 provided on the cartridge frame. The first electric contact 81 is abutted at the mounting position and electrically connected to an electric contact member (intermediate electric contact 90) provided on a moving guide 101, and the electric contact member is provided with a first electric contact surface to be abutted to the first electric contact 81 and a second electric contact surface to be abutted to a second electric contact provided on the apparatus main body when the process cartridge 2 is moved to the mounting position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
