OPTICAL TRANSMITTER, ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT, AND HOLDING BODY AND OPTICAL ELEMENT FOR USE IN OPTICAL TRANSMITTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmitter in which structure for opening/closing of a shutter is formed using a part of the minimum required components other than dedicated springs in the components constituting the optical transmitter and which is therefore composed of the reduced number of components, is assembled with reduced assembly steps and is manufactured inexpensively.

SOLUTION: The optical transmitter is equipped with: a holding body that holds an optical element for at least receiving or emitting light and that has a plug inserting port for inserting a plug for optical signal transmission; a shutter that opens/closes the plug inserting port; and an elastic section that energizes the shutter in the closing direction. The elastic section is composed of a part of the components of the optical transmitter.
