<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a satellite DMB receiving device and a method for minimizing a delay time in channel switching of video broadcasting. <P>SOLUTION: The satellite DMB receiving device includes a CDM demodulator for performing CDM demodulation of broadcasting data encoded to Walsh codes, a broadcasting data channel decoder for decoding the encoded broadcasting data. The satellite DMB receiving device further includes a CDM demodulator for performing CDM demodulation of the Walsh codes of at least more than one broadcasting channel, and a broadcasting data channel decoder for decoding broadcasting data in every channel in at least more than one broadcasting channel transmitted from the CDM demodulator and for selecting a broadcasting channel which is intended to be viewed and listened by a user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
