PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a method of detecting a terminal with defective connection that a correct pattern difference can not be measured by noise superposed on a signal line of a load sensor since a threshold is set on a detected waveform pattern of the load and a sampling for detecting the difference of the pattern of both wave forms is started with the detected waveform of the load exceeding the threshold as a trigger. SOLUTION: The detected waveform pattern of the load is stored, the stored waveform pattern of the load is scanned from a rear end side to a top end side thereof, and the waveform pattern at the rear end side of a part exceeding the prescribed threshold is sampled. The waveform pattern of the load at the rear end side is made to coincide with a standard signal pattern equivalent to the waveform pattern of the load at the rear end side to make time axes of both patterns coincide with each other, and the difference between the both patterns is compared.
